The engineering behind the grip

• RPT™ tooth geometry that pulls inward. Standard hex tools concentrate stress on the fastener corners and push material outward, which is what rounds a broach. RPT™ reshapes the tooth profile to shift the pressure point and pull material inward, forming a secure mechanical lock. Torque transfers into the fastener instead of around it, delivering up to 50% more grip on new fasteners and up to 400% more on damaged ones.
• Prevention and extraction in one tool. Because RPT™ grips new and compromised fasteners alike, these are not special-occasion tools. Reach for them first, every time, to prevent rounding before it starts, and rely on the same bits to remove a fastener that has already been chewed up, no separate extractor set required.
• Bi-directional engagement. The profile grips in both directions for loosening and tightening. When a replacement is not on hand, RPT™ can grip a damaged fastener well enough to drive it back in temporarily.
