Extraction

Extraction tools are for the fastener that is already ruined. External grip socket extractors slide over a rounded nut or bolt head and bite into whatever is left of the flats, so they work on damaged hex, lug nuts, studs and stripped wheel locks without drilling. Internal grip extractors go inside a snapped or hollowed bolt, driven by a left-hand drill bit that often backs the stub out on its own. Pusher rods and accessories clear the extractor after use. All are made for square drive ratchets and impact wrenches, individually or in metric and SAE sets.
