The MDDA64S 64-Pc RPT™ 1/4" Drive Low Profile Master Dual Action Driver (DAD) Set is the complete compact answer: 59 DAD bits across hex, star, Star Plus, and triple square profiles, the DFRA6572 7/16" Hex Flex-Head Low Profile Ratchet built to drive them, and the adapters that tie the system into the rest of your toolbox. It is the first 1/4" master set to include this ratchet, the first to bring Star Plus into the DAD lineup, and it debuts sizes available only in this set: Star Plus IP6 and IP8, Star T6, and Hex 1.5mm and 1/16".

Drive tools and adapters

• DFRA6572: 7/16" Hex Standard Flex Head Low Profile Ratchet. Engages each DAD bit directly on its external hex through a pass-through retention cavity, for a combined stack height of just 22mm.
• DDA32A: 7/16" Hex Drive to 1/4" Square Drive Adapter (new). Lets the low profile ratchet run standard 1/4" drive sockets and accessories.
• DDB32A: 7/16" Hex Drive to 3/8" Square Drive Adapter (new). Extends the ratchet to 3/8" drive sockets and accessories.
• DDA32BA: 7/16" Hex Drive to 1/4" Hex Drive Bit Adapter. Open compatibility with any standard 1/4" hex shank bit, so the ratchet covers profiles beyond the set.
• LPASA: 1/4" Drive Spinner Adapter (new). Fast finger tightening and loosening before and after final torque.

Everything is packaged in a durable GripEdge case with a removable EVA foam tray for clean organization, quick inventory checks, and fast resets.

The engineering behind the grip

• RPT™ tooth geometry that loads inward. Standard drivers concentrate stress on the fastener corners and push material outward until the recess rounds. The RPT™ profile relocates the contact point along the flank and directs force inward, forming a mechanical lock. Torque transfers into the fastener rather than around it, providing up to 50% more grip on intact fasteners and up to 400% more on damaged ones across hex, star, Star Plus, and triple square profiles.
• Dual Action Drive. Every bit runs on either 1/4" square drive tools or its external 7/16" (11mm) hex. Drive it with the included flex-head ratchet, a standard 1/4" ratchet, or a combination wrench when nothing else will fit.
• 22mm low profile length with full-length tips. Material is removed from the driver body rather than the tip, so each bit stays just 22mm long overall while keeping full-length tip geometry for deep, secure fastener engagement.
• Purpose-built ratchet. The DFRA6572 uses a reversible 72-tooth mechanism with a 5 degree swing arc for control in confined spaces, a non-locking 0 to 180 degree flex head, and a flush-mount direction switch. The 6.5" body keeps the head footprint small, and the gear internals and flex joint are field serviceable.
• One system, wider reach. The hex-to-square adapters put standard 1/4" and 3/8" sockets on the low profile ratchet, the bit adapter accepts any 1/4" hex shank bit, and the spinner speeds run-down and removal. The ratchet becomes the center of a compact system rather than a single-purpose tool.
• Material and marking. One-piece S2 tool steel construction for strength, rigidity, and long service life, with large laser-etched size markings for fast identification.
